The music ministry at BAPC offers something for everyone.  There are seven ensembles in which the members and friends of the church participate.

Music Camp will be held the week of July 19th thru 23rd from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Our Faculty is in place and they will need assistance. If you can help any day or anytime during the week your help will be greatly appreciated. Cherubs Choir
 
Melissa Owens  Children in 3 years old - first grade learn through story-songs and movement. They develop a love of music in a church setting having fellowship and recreation. They occasionally sing in worship during the year. Sunday 10:30 AM

Youth Ensemble - High School
 

 

Steve Henley This choir is open to all youth, grades 9 - 12. The Youth Ensemble sings for worship services, occasionally joins with the Chancel Choir and sings at Special services throughout the year.

The Youth Ensemble also participates annually in the area festival "Youth Jam" and in our annual Christmas Musical, Youth Sunday Service, and a Spring Music Service.

Steve Henley This choir is open to all youth, grades 6 - 8. The Youth Ensemble sings for worship services, occasionally joins with the Chancel Choir and sings at Special services throughout the year.

Chancel Ringers Steve Henley This is an advanced group of adults who ring regularly during the church year, at special services and for organizations in the Bon Air community. The Chancel Ringers also participate in area handbell festivals. Music reading proficiency is an asset and regular attendance is required. Tuesday
 
6:30 PM - 7 PM
Handchime Choir
 
Steve Henley A beginning choir for children in grades 2 - 5, where they learn the basic art of ringing handchimes and reading notes from the printed score. The Handchime Choir ring in worship 3-4 times during the season. Wednesday 5 PM - 5:30 PM
Cantus Choir
 
Deborah Houghton A choir for boys and girls in grades 2 - 5 sing unison and two-part singing as well as learn music notation, enjoy fellowship, play a key role in the annual Christmas Musical and participate in the Richmond and Junior Choir Festival each year. Wednesday 5:30 PM
Youth Handbell Ringers Steve Henley This is an advanced group of youth, grades 6 - 12 who ring regularly during the church year. Wednesday 5:30 PM - 6 PM
Chancel Choir Steve Henley The adult choir sings regularly at the 11 AM worship service each week and occasionally as the 8:30 AM service as well as services on Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, and Christmas Eve.

The Chancel Choir sings music from a diverse music library of varied styles of church music including cantatas, motets, and extended anthems. They are often accompanied by many of BAPC instrumentalists.
